The cottage has three bedrooms and two full baths. Outside is a freestanding enclosed shower. The outdoor deck includes a dining table for eight, a grill, lounge chairs, and a drawing board that provides a neat outdoor workspace.

By the water is a sitting, reading, and entertainment area.

Surrounding the house, which is two hundred feet from the road down an S-curved drive, is an acre of tended nature, including a meadow that runs to the lake. A path wanders to the water through native grasses, sedges, rushes, ferns, mints, and wildflowers. Wetlands bound one edge from along the driveway down to the shore.

Indoors, televisions are in two bedrooms and in the common area. You can connect your smartphone to an amplifier to run your music playlist. A window counter allows you to work on your laptop while glancing at the water, although on a nice day you might want to work from the drawing board on the deck. There’s high-speed wireless, of course.

If you book directly with us, our pricing is as follows, except that rentals for a full month or longer receive a 10% discount. The minimum stay is two weeks.
